Do any of these allow you to connect an output to a larger monitor/ TV ?

Would be great to get a larger image.

Yes they all do and some even have a HDMI port.

RedBaron73, that video looks great. The camera seems to transition from shade to full sun well.

It's to bad that you can't make out license plates, but you still can easily tell who would be at fault.

Here is another video that I just captured. This is the same brand of camera as the motorhome, but in my car.

This shows night time driving. This is a 4 lane divided highway, and a drunk driver is in the fast lane going the WRONG direction. Kinda scary.

Not sure if a lpr will work in motion. The one I use at my S&B is fixed and fires off at a preset distance. May have to experiment.

'S & B' ?

It starts recording video based on distance?

The lpr at my home will sense a car up to 90mph and record the plate number sending it out the serial port as well as a clear image for the dvr.

Police cars have a similar system but it is rather large with lots of infrared for night vision.

I don't think an lpr can be installed on a motorhome, but if anyone comes up with a way I would be very interested.

I have not seen any dashcams that can record a license plate nor have I seen actual video from one that is human readable.

Here is a picture of what an lpr does.

I got mine last week, "installed" it yesterday and used it today. Need to pull the 32 GB card I installed and check the quality. I am at 640 X 480, and it still uses quite a bit of card memory. Even a 32 GB card only has about 20 hours of recording time.

I realized when I started to set it up that they sent me the old version in a box representing the new model. It's supposed to be the 270 and they sent the 027. I'm in email contact with the seller and will probably send it back.
