I was looking into a mount for an LCD monitor that could attach to the small computer desk that would keep everything locked (no movement) when underway.
The purpose is to be able to set-up a desktop computer rather than a laptop but so that the computer could be used while in-motion.
I know about and do not want to use a chair mounted system and since we have a window to the back of the desk did not want to use a wall mount.
Has anyone found a mount like this that has worked for them? All of the ones that we have seen don't lock securely in place as they are meant for very easy repositioning.
Thanks!

A clever way that I saw one of our customers do it was to use the standard mount the monitor comes with and attach the mount to the desk with the same kind of plastic "L's" that you would use to mount a mirror to a wall. This still allowed the monitor to be swiveled side to side for the best viewing angle as the base was completely round. There are similar sizes and shapes so you should be able to find one that will fit your base. If you really want it to be permanent just run a couple of screws through the base and into the desk and you are done.
