Well, I finally got around to installing my digital converters today. Acutally discovered many more channels than I could previously get on the batwing.
On my rear TV, there is only one coax coming to the TV enclosure. I have a Winegard A-V switch box in the front. I connected the coax to the converter input and a short coax from the converter (RF out) to the TV and, using the A-V switch, was able to get either antenna signal or a signal from the Direct TV receiver in the front of the coach. As long as I had the converter switched off, the DTV signal seems to pass thru the converter to the TV. That surprised me. I was thinking I would need to use a splitter but apparently not.
Is this as expected? My converters are analog pass thru.
