There is a $5.99 DVR charge for each DVR. There is also a $4.99/month charge for any receiver beyond one. This is the mirror fee where the 2,3,4th, etc. receivers so they can receive the same programming as the first.
Additionally, there either is or is not a leasing fee. In my case that is a $4.99/month charge and a $4.99/month credit. Others are paying a lease fee.

Does that ring true?
Steve and Sherri,
You pay $5.99 per month for each DVR if you want to be able to use the recording feature of the unit. As far as the "leasing fee", we have supplied our own equipment in both our stick home and the RV.
They show 2 Leased Receivers on our bill at $4.99 per month. We have three active receivers total.

I'm not sure if there is a standard charge or if other factors figure into the equation.

I have 3 DVRs, one I own and two I lease. I have 2 charges of $4.99 each. One of a leased receiver and one for an additional receiver. But I only have one charge of $5.99 for DVR service.

It would seem that each of us may need to audit our bills from the providers.

I doubt any of them are above making errors, but we have found that Direct is customer friendly.

I just looked at my DirecTV bill. I'm charged $4.99 for each receiver, with a credit back for the primary one. There's one $5.99 charge for DVR service. $11.99 for DNS for Mobile customers. Plus the normal package fees.
