direct tv music with wireless speakers

Has anyone hooked up wireless speakers to their direct tv receiver to play music outside the motorhome? If so how well does it work? Was looking to try this with my coach. Thanks

I have not tried it. Do the speakers have their own amplification though? I don't believe the DTV box amplifies the sound so if the speakers don't either it may not work.

So you are saying I would need to hook the wireless speakers in with the receiver for the surround sound inside the coach. The tv plays through the bose system

Now that I think about it, you may not have to go that route. The speakers at the end since wireless must have there own amplification.

How does the transmit end connect to whatever device, the DTV box in your case? If it has RCA plugs, probably one red and one white it may not be much trouble to try hooking them into the satellite receiver to try it out

They need to connect to the audio out on the TV.

My wife and I are using Sennheiser RS120 926 MHz Wireless RF Headphones with Charging Cradle and they work well without annoying my neighbors.
They are pricey ($80 each) but have very high quality sound and do contain amplifiers.
