Aiming the dish at the sky properly is worth more than a single sentence. Some people find it easy to learn; others find it rather challenging.

Yes, that is right. Get the same kind of dish that you have at home, presumably SWM so that your receiver works. I have both kinds of receivers at home SWM and non. You will need a compass (or look at other dishes from DTV in the park. Generally it needs a clear view of the sky to the southwest (in the northeast). You will have to put in the zip code of where you are staying and get the compass heading of the satellite and the elevation of the dish. Do it here Dish Pointer

If you have never done this, you may find it a bit challenging. Perhaps ask someone who has to help you the first time. After that, it really isn't that hard. Helps to be able to hear the signal meter on the TV...irritating beeps...but it will happen.

At first it was challenging to find the 101 sat. The more you do it, the faster it goes. I can lock on now within 5 minutes. Wife looks at the signal strength as I SLOWLY move the dish one way or the other. Then, bingo! 95 on the meter!!

If you have a iphone, the app Sat Finder Lite is very handy. Shows the exact position in the sky of the birds, and the correct elevation. Set that once and forget it. Uses augmented reality to see them with the phone camera.

For DirecTV you would want something like a Winegard Carryout G2. It is not a SWM-compatible device, but Winegard sells a kit to make it SWM-compatible.

The device you posted a picture of is called a King Quest. Tailgater is also made by King and it does look a lot like the Quest, but the Tailgater costs $299 and the Quest has an MSRP of $549. As a result I think it's safe to say that there are some differences. Just because it's a portable dome doesn't make it the same. As I said in my original post, Tailgater is a dish-only device.

Tailgater was bought by king and yes makes both. The tailgater only works for dish you are correct. The quest will come set up for direct tv. But can be reprogrammed to work with dish.

For those not wanting the hassle of aligning the dish it’s a good product as it self aligns to the correct satellite wherever you are.
I think theirs also Apps for smartphone to help manual alignment for a normal dish on tripod not sure how well they work someone else on here may be able to speak to that. But the king quest is an automatic set up for directv Just like the tailgater is for dish
