Bob, I'm sure we have several folks who can help.

In the meantime it would be most helpful if you would post;

Manufacturer and model of your dish
Model of receiver

Go to the setup menu. Locate the repeat setup and select. Enter the information like zip code, and follow the on screen prompts. It will give you the antenna information elevation, azmuth, etc. Go out side and hook up the antenna and set it to those coordinates. You need a compass to locate North and a bubble level to set the pole correctly. Now, rotate a little at a time to get the best signal strength readings on the setup screen. OR, simply go out and have an automatic system installed on the roof of your RV and forget all this setup stuff.

The automatic is the best way to go! If you are using a Tripod, You need a compass and the zip code to get you into the ball park,Like 450Donn said use small moves to get it in correctly.

That's a pretty tall order with no info. You gotta spend a little more time telling us what you have for equipment before we start playing 20 questions.

Bob,
It is easy once you know how. We can help, but do need more information. You can also call Direct TV and get phone help or you can get help over the internet from the Direct TV website.

The best help will be to look around where you are parked and look at the other dishes. You may even find a tripod with a Direct TV logo. Strike up a conversation and you will get lots of help in answer to your questions you will ask. If you happen to find an IRV2 member, I'll bet you are up and running in no time! If they are not - invite them to join.

So what was the problem? If you clue us all in, maybe it will help the next person who has trouble finding a signal.
