I would like to disable the cutoff switch that disables the tv when the key is turned on. I have a 2008 Bounder (tv located above the driver and passenger)
Yea Yea I know it's a safety feature to prevent the driver from watching TV while driving down the road, but I have no desire or intention to watch TV while driving, but my wife would! heck I can barley even see the thing. Anyways any tips.

A couple of ways to do it.
First is to look for a 12vdc wire going into the junction box and cut it.
On some 110vac double sockets, only one is cut off with the ignition switch. Try moving the tv plug to the other socket.
You can find another 110vac socket to plug the tv into.

If the TV is 110v, it is more than likely plugged into a double socket, just move the plug to the other socket and you are in business.

When we changed the tv out in our 06 endeavor there was only one plug where the tv was plugged into. There was a 12 volt wire running into that plug with a quick disconnect on it. I just unplugged the quick disconnect and now the tv works when the key is turned on. Try it.

this is not advice---you did not seek it---i'm certainly not passing judgement------however as a person who may be injured or killed by a distracted driver I will just point out that safety features are generally thought of AFTER a multitude of accidents----and there may be laws regarding this -------you have my best wishes for many safe and happy miles of travel, what ever you finally decide, respectfully
