When working in Windows 7 and I often have to go from using the mouse to entering text using the keyboard, I would normally just cast the mouse aside and slightly down to the right. What happens is that whatever application I am using goes transparent and the desktop pops up and I find myself not being able to see what I'm doing "until" I move the mouse out of the bottom right corner of the screen. (slightly annoying)
I knew about the "Show Desktop"(SD) function (click the button to the right of the clock) however what I discovered this morning is that if you "
right click" on the SD square next to the clock, just uncheck the
√ "Peek at Desktop" option and this will disable the disappearing desktop.
