Dish Pay As You Go Phone Numbers
i used to use the various phone numbers that others posted here on the forum to turn on and turn off my service under the Pay as you Go program. i always asked the customer service rep if they were familiar with the program (since most others confused it with a residential service). Now however, Dish as cancel these phone numbers and there is only one available. the Customer Service reps are totally lost. when asked, they will tell you they know about the program, then will attempt to charge you to connect or disconnect the service. Last time it took over 20 minutes and 3 representative just to stop/disconnect my service. it is real pain now. anyone have a good number that works now, since the previous numbers are now cancelled.

I use Dish Pay as you go and have had no problem for two years.
I call each new place and get the local programming...no problem.
I have always used 888-333-3474
This is the auto matic and you select what you want, get an operator
and tell them you are in an RV, changed location, and it is done.

I believe the pre-requisite for employment at Dish is to be a total idiot.
I have nothing but problems with them. I shut my pay as you go off two months ago and just got a bill from them for $118 for the last two months.
I call and explain things to about three different idiots and they say it's fixed and I owe nothing only to get another bill the following month.
Every person you talk to has a different story and comes up with a different balance.

Regardless of which number you call, ask to be transferred to 'RV Support, Dr. Dish' and don't talk to anyone until they do. If you do this you will usually have no problems and if you don't then you are on your own...

Out of interest, when you log into Dish on Line to see your account is the Auto Pay ticked off? Do you receive an email each month advising that your bill is ready however you have to go into your account and manually authorize the billing to your card?

My account says NO under auto pay and it says that I'm currently disconnected.

OMG, oh well I guess I'll wait and see and the end of this month if they send me a bill too. ....and ya know, after reading all these posts carefully I took extra care in explaining the situation and what has happened to others etc and she said "Oh no....your plan is on Vacation, you pay again when you want to start. Time will tell.
