Does anyone use the Dish Playmaker?

I got one in Dec. and it has been working OK, but now it has started going through a 50 problem check
Always before all it had to do was a 3 switch check and then would go to the Satellite signal search and most of the time the Satellites were found and we were good to go.

Is there anyway to bypass the 50 check?

Never heard of a 50 item check. Maybe a call or email to Winegard tech services would get you an answer.

Check your coax cable. On my tailgater I was getting the checking 50 whatever screen. Was advised the it almost always indicates that there is a problem with the coax not getting voltage to the dish. I'm not familiar with the Playmaker but my tailgater needs around 19 volts from the receiver.

from my experience, it enters that 50 problem check when the receiver has no connection to the dish. It could be a bad cable for whatever reason or a loose cable from the walls. Mine actually ended up being the outside cable going from the dish to the camper. Replaced it and all was fine again

I haven't called the company yet but will.

It could be the coax or connectors.

After it goes through the 50 checks it never tells me what is wrong
