Dish Playmaker portable
I’ve been a Directv customer for many years, never been involved with Dish Network so I’m trying to learn the Ins and outs of Dish. My first question involves the Playmaker portable. I understand that it uses the Western Arc satellites only.....we spend most summers in Maine, so would anyone who uses a Playmaker in Maine let me know if they are able to use it in the North East? I’d appreciate knowing what you Mainiacs use for Dish Network.

I'm in Rhinebeck NY right now and was in Gettysburg PA last week. It works fine. I also have it at home in South Jersey.

A Winegard Pathway X2 is the only portable dome I know of that can handle Eastern and Western arcs.
I have the Playmaker and it has worked well so far but I haven't taken it East.

I have used Dish as far north as Alton Bay, NH. I highly recommend the $10 app “Dish for my RV”. Point to sky and it shows you all the Dish satellites.
