When parked for extended time periods I unplug my Traveler control panel. The antenna will then sit locked into position until I power it back up. At which tine it will home itself in all three axis. Once homed I then power it off by pushing the button.

I'm not saying it's the same problem but mine was doing the same. I thought that if I left the cabinet door open it would help. To fix the problem I had was to buy a small fan that would fit into to the cabinet to help cool that equipment. They produce lots of heat. You might try that. One more thing is when you set up your dish it will ask you at what time would you like for us to up date your equipment. Have you done that and if you have, try changing the time to see if that is what is happening. Mine updates at 0400 hours every morning.

You should power off the antenna if you have locked in on the sats. Press the Power and Select buttons on control box at the same time and the control box will power down. I think your antenna is stowing because you are leaving the control box on and you are having a power blip in the middle of the night.

Your receiver can be programmed to power down after x number of hours. I would just turn it off but if you want to search around the setup menus, you'll find the setting.

I don't turn mine off and it doesn't stow by itself. I still believe you have a power cord problem.
