DISH RV when home DISH user

We have a Wineguard traveler and a Dish DVR in our RV. Travel 3-5 months out of the year. We usually put up the batwing antenna to get the locals. This week we are in Pensacola and the major stations come out of Mobile, AL; too much of a reach for the batwing. (which means no NFL)

I called DISH and inquired about their RV program and how much it would cost me to add it to my account. They told me NOTHING...just tell them the zip code that you are at and in 10 minutes you will have service. When you go home, call us and we will change it back.

I am used to everything costing me something. What a nice treat to hear a Freebee.

They do the same for those of us who are not "home Dish users." We have the pay-as-you-go deal and all it takes is one phone call when we set up in a new area to get the locals changed. (If we ever decide to dump cable at home, Dish will be our choice.)
