Smile Dish with pathway x2

I recently purchased a pathway x2 system with two receivers from Don at TV FOR MY RV. I highly recommend him! We had several issues installing dish and dealing with their people. I finally talked to an engineer at Winegard and now we have full service. The tip he gave me is that dish software isn't correct and even though the x2 supports two receivers, when you hook up you need to tell the the receiver that there is only one receiver and select a or b depending on your location to get the proper satilites. If you don't do this you will not get all of your programming. Since having done this I am a happy camper!

Hmmm... interesting.

Did you need to activate the 2nd receiver and pay DISH for the 2nd receiver ($7 charge)?

Yes, you need to activate second receiver. Also you need to leave first receiver turned on since it supplies power to dish.
