There is information online at various sites that show how to build a simple dish to increase your wi-fi signal. Some of you may be aware of them but some may not. I took that information, cleaned it up, simplified it and put it into an easy to read format with pictures. You only need paper, aluminum foil and scissors! If you'd like to see how you can improve your wi-fi signal, you can read the article on our site at

This is nothing more than a COPY of the EZ-12 Parabolic reflector designed by FreeAntennas.com.
FreeAntennas.com released the info early last year to the public domain. It is a shame to put one's name on something another person originated without proper credit being given.

Apparently someone didn't read the original post very well - LOL. It clearly states that is was a compilation of info obtained from other sites. I hadn't seen the site you referred to so I went and checked it out. Not very helpful to the average person but thanks for the link anyway.

A seach for home-made WiFi booster devices will take you everywhere. There are too many to properly acknowledge who may be the originator. In fact, many sites suggest that you avoid costs by using whatever you have lying about. They call it "hacking". No-one needs to apologize for what is found in the public-domain!!

Is there a way to allow this Signal Booster to increase the signal on a laptop, HP altec Lansing, that does not have an external antenna?
