Does your extended svc contract cover sat dish?

Like so many others, my Winegard ASC 2003 will no longer lock on to any sat. I've read that the dish is obsolete and parts aren't available.

Has anyone had any luck getting a new dish via their extended service contract? My dealer tells me they will send out an inspector but will then cover up to $1300 toward the cost of a replacement dish. Since I want a new Travler Hd dish anyway, this would be great but I wanted to check in with the forum to see if anyone else had experience going this route.

Well, great news. My dealer was able to get my extended EZ Care warranty to cover $1200 for a new dish and four hours of labor so I had them install a new Slimline Travlr HD dish. It cost me about $750 out the door and I'm as happy as can be! Love the dish.
