Does your Tailgater 211k receiver get really hot to the touch?

Does your Tailgater 211k receiver get really hot to the touch? Mine gets very hot - not warm, hot. You do not want, or would not be able to, hold your hand on the top of it for more that a couple few seconds. Mine is on an enclosed shelf with several inches of space around the receiver - what I would think is a common installation scenario.

I just touched mine, warm. Mine is on a shelf with 12in clearance over it.

Just tried mine also. Moderately warm. In front cabinet with door open and 4 in of space above. Nothing dramatic!

Warm but not hot. I leave the compartment door open when in use.

Send a message via ICQ to Fred and Bonnie
I also keep the cabinet door open when in use.
