We have Dish Network and the DVR, but they set it up on the outside dish and we want it hooked to the one on the roof of the motorhome. Can any one tell me how to change it. When it was hooked up they took it through the VCR and would like to have it just off the roof dish. I don't know where to put the coax off the back of the DVR but know it needs to go to the on roof satelite. We have this and can never get it set up outside so paying for something we can not use.

The roof dish Rg-6 can only go to the sat receiver, not the VCR. On the back of the sat reciever you will see a symbol showing a dish at one RF input. Connect your roof antenna to that terminal. On another terminal (RF output) you will see a TV symbol. Connect your VCR or TV to that. You're good to go.
