Well. what I mean is "the side of good advice" I agree, Dish or DirecTV is your choice.. I normally recommend DirecTV Standard (NOT HD) for RV's *IF* you are considering an in-motion dome to record as you drive.. For reasons I suspect you understand (All on one bird) but in any other case.. Pick a service and get the proper DISH TYPE antenna is my advice. Just so you know

I also recommend an A/B switch in the LNB line with "A" being the roof top antenna up (A)bove and the "B" being a connection either in a (B)ulkhead or (B)asement compartment down (B)elow for use with a ground mount tripod in case of signal eating tree.

My "B" connection is on the (B)ell crank (B)racket for the (B)rake master cylinder. IN case you wonder

Tried out my new Winegard in-motion dome this last weekend and it worked well. Just very brief pixelations going under overpasses. So far so good - I am happy with it. I used my old R10 dvr and it worked fine. Have not tried the HR10-250 yet.
