Sounds like a private sector startup trying yo create then capture a market for a product we don't want or need.

Aren't there enough driving distractions without turning cars into billboards?

What a great idea, our government can add this to reading our email and monitoring or cell phones.

George Orwell would love this.

You are welcome.. By the way A dispatcher is the only person who can tell the head of the Dept where to go (And I know one who did too).

I am fond of telling people what a great Job I had.. Yup.
I GOT PAID TO TELL COPS WHERE TO GO.
now how great is that.. Want to know what is better?
I still get paid because I USED to tell cops where to go (Retired)

Have a good one.. (the rest of your life) and always remember
Two things in life are all important.
A vertical attitude
and a positive altitude.

(that - 6 Feet horozontial just plain sucks).

with a truck, a car, 2 motorcycles, a utility trailer and a travel trailer, I already pay a bundle each year for vehicle registration which in my area includes plenty of other tacked on fees such as bridge fees and drainage project improvement fees. and add to that the monthly technology charge they want of 7.75$ per and I would be forced to start cutting something so I hope I dont last till this becomes mandatory or folks in my state dont approve it

I am not so sure they are waisting money.. I would guess that these plates can be manufactured for less than 1/3 the added cost of buying them. The state will make a tidy profit because some folks are so prideful of their wealth they have to show it off.

I mean some folks need to drive a Jag, or a Lamborgini or another high end very expensive car.

My 2001 Neon (2,000 used + 2,000 more to make it towable) gets me there just the same as their hundred thousand or more ride.. Both do the legal speed limit. I collect fewere speeding tickets is all
