If you have dish and do not have a contract, you can call them and get 2 year contract at a new customer price. And of course you can get dish for the RV for only additional $7/more, if you get it for your home.

Wally has it's issues still. They did a firmware update last year and still working thru the pain. It's documented pretty thoroughly in a couple threads in this forum.
Other than that I love it (but did not vote love it due to firmware issue). I have a 2 year contract and must call or chat online to change locals but that's ok. Can't change locals via the app because of the long term contract. monthly does not have that issue but is a much higher price.

I think that AT&T will let Directv go down hill as now they own both and Directv doesn't seem to care about the RV people. AT&T will eventually force people to Dish and not spend money to upgrade Directv. JMHO and a career of 1967 to 2007 with AT&T

We've had Dish for about 15+ years. Don't have any issue with them. Use a Winegard Trav'ler with a Hybrid LNB. Just take the Hopper and Joey from the house. No problems with this setup. We are in the boonies a lot so streaming doesn't work for me to often. I'm not worried about the local channels, so I don't do the whole switching locations thing.

Take a receiver from home and save your $7 , this is what we do and you don't have to call Dish for it to work

We couldn't imagine TV without Dish and their Hopper 3.
We've had them for the past 9 or 10 years and no complaints at all.
