? for old Millenicom now going to Verizon

I have a question for those that use to have Millenicom Hotspots and were forced to go with Verizon. I see on several forums about calling Verizon at 800-233-8974 and being offered a one year contract at $99.99 plus a $10 discount bring the price back to the $89.99 paid to Millenicom. Yet when I call the number all I am offered is the $99.99 deal. What did those of you do differant that you got the $10 discount for one year??
