just returned to stix&brix after 5 weeks in fl
while parked in a wally world next to home depot on the way home
found HDepot free wifi to be a great service good signal strength and easy to connect with .technology has left this mature american far behind so this was like a gift to me,
second thing i found the higher the dollar rig the earlier they arrive and depart
wally world

Thanks for the info and welcome back to this mornings monsoon event here in TN. It's still rainy and windy up here on the plateau but the radar shows some clearing on the way; west to east, so you will get it soon in your neck of the woods. Colder though! We just returned from a month or so down in the Sunshine State and miss the blue skies.

Hah - good to know about Walmart. Is that the case for all Walmarts? I am hoping so.

Thanks for the info and welcome home.

I've used Office Depot's free WiFi for some years now. McDonalds also offers free WiFi. Texas travelers information centers have free WiFi or computers to use.
That is just the tip of the iceburg,so to speak.

I would never have thought of Office Depot. McDonalds does not surprise me but Office Depot does.

Thanks!

My guess about the "High Dollar Rigs" (anything over $500) is that they are mostly the senior citizens (Like me an DW) and they go to sleep early and wake up early (for me force of habit after being in the workforce for 45 years). I would like to stay at Walmarts too but DW (She who must be obeyed) does not feel comfortable about it.

I believe tncruiser was referring to Home Depot, not Office Depot. Am I mistaken?

Good info on any count.

Thanks,
