They left one of the best channels off the list-

"Escape" CH 69 on XM. I think Sirius might have a different number for the same programming- It did at one time.

If any folks reading this thread have Sirius/Xm now, I think you'll enjoy this music on CH 69.

I was going to re-activate an old receiver I have, but the cost of the lifetime subscription has gone nuts. I was lucky years ago when I bought the lifetime membership for only about $30 more than a 3 year renewal.

Now I just remove my old receiver and plug it into a cradle in my other vehicles.

I have a dumb question...We have a pre-enjoyed Revolution. How do I know whether or not I have a Sirius receiver? The previous owner thought it had one that he never activated.

Thanks for any help.

Faith,

Try this:

Quote:
SiriusXM is available in most new and many pre-owned cars & trucks.

SiriusXM is available in a wide selection of cars, trucks, and motor vehicles. You can enter your VIN to check if your vehicle is equipped with satellite radio, or use the chart below.
Many new and used SiriusXM-equipped vehicles come with an introductory trial. Ask your dealer for details. Don't see the vehicle brand you're considering? Click here for options to add SiriusXM to any vehicle.
Vehicle makes are listed alphabetically. Click a letter to jump to that section of the list.
If that doesn't work, call Sirius/Xm at:

877-486-6250, ask for "tech support"

Good luck,

Faith,
If you have the Visteon radio with a "sat" button on the bottom left hand side of the radio you should have a Sirius receiver. The radio is Sirius Ready but it uses an external Sirius receiver box. The sat. box is located inside the sub woofer cabinet, this is the cabinet at the front of the dash and has a speaker cloth cover. The Speaker cloth is velcro attached and easily removed. Once removed you can see the sub woofer for the surround sound system and on the floor should be a small sat box with Sirius on it, on the bottom of the box is your Sirus receiver number that you will need for activating. Write the number down and call Sirius with it and they will activate your service.

Max, "Escape" is still on Ch 69 XM. WE enjoy it.
