I agree with ELK, if it has always been good, and now it's bad you have a bad cable
I recommend you do a three step check
'
First check the cable ends in the bedroom (This may involve removal of the tv) you should have 3 ends there.. One is in the wall behind the plate, Make sure none of them have pulled off, make sure the center wire extends slightly beyond the nut... If not.. Re-do the end using a good compression fitting and tool.
Step 2: Check the end at the switch box
Step 3: If all ends are good.. Replace the cable with RG-6
NOTE: Dish uses UHF for the 2nd TV.. I find that with my hookup I got very good signal on UHF in the front but snow in the back ON chan 3/4 it was Good/Good
Another thing that can bother your rear tv UHF picture is where you are parked.. The cable in my rig is not all that well shielded it seems and I often have to change my TV-2 UHF channel on the Dish Receiver to avoid interference
Today's Digital TV transmitters are mostly (not entierly) on UHF so you may have to Channel Shop a bit, Also the channel displayed on a digital TV is usually NOT the channel on which it's broadcast
For example.. One place I parked 13 was indeed 13, but 4 transmitted 36 and 62 on 45, Where I'm at now chan 2 transmits on chan 7
