Saw that yesterday, ain't that special?
I guess you can't blame them with the proliferation of SmartPhones with free GPS and traffic service over links that are way more robust than hanging on the back of a local FM carrier. The new Garmin 1690 with "NuLink" is running on the AT&T broadband data services and has basic 2-way searching and way faster updating. It probably won't go away like this one is, but nobody has pinned a $$$ on the subscription rates yet either. I doubt if anyone will stand for more than $8-10/mo if that.
