I looking into buying a new GPS. Has anyone used the Garmin Nuvi 1490T. I have read several reviews some like it some do not. I like the features of this unit. Would this unit work ok with a Class A MH.

Wyatt53, I'm surprised that you haven't gotten a more timely response however some of the trucker Garmini Nuvis list low bridges and stuff like that which some find useful.
I don't see anything wrong with a 1490 but I'm looking for a Nuvi whose model number ends in a "5". That may not be that important but that's what I'm looking for.

What do you get when the model number ends in a 5?
I'm looking at a new one also and the more I look the more confused I get.
Thanks
Brian

I bought the 1490 in May, it worked great....until last week. I went to use it and all i got was the garmin logo. Luckily i bought it at best buy and i returned it for a new one. Garmin also just did a firmware up date to fix that problem. So I'm hoping all will be well. Yes I like the 5 inch screen and larger speaker. I can see it and hear it in my Class A MH.
