We have a 2005 32-foot SeaBreeze motorhome by National, with a Winegard Antenna & Distribution Center. Our Tv's are RCA, and we know that these are analog. Does anyone know if the antenna/distribution center are digital ready for the switchover in 2/09 or do we need a converter box? I have looked through all the directions and can't find anything that gives me a clue. I guess I'm looking for someone who has a set-up just like ours and knows how they're going to handle it. No sense in re-inventing the wheel, right? Thanks!

If you're using a satellite service like Direct or Dish, nothing changes. If you're watching regular over the air broadcast TV on the batwing antenna you need a converter box for each TV.

With the exception of the TV, "Digital Ready" has turned into sales lingo aimed at getting you to buy addition equipment that is not needed. Everything, the antenna, amplifier, switchbox, etc., in the coach will receive digital transmission and in fact is doing so now as most all broadcasters are currently running digital transmitters. Get your coupons at DTV.gov and see what you're missing.

I got two convertor boxes from Target and it is amazing how much better the tv is. Channel 12 here in New Bern is not very clear in the RV but with the convertor boxes it is great. It works with the RV under a metal shelter with the antenna down.
I had a little trouble the first time or two I pluged it into the wall jack it did not work. Got some rabbit ears and it worked. Back to the wall jack and it worked there also. Just a big mystery to me
