Has anyone tried this new internet browser? I saw a survey done on another forum I frequent and the difference to it and IE is night and day. Some geeks like it over Firefox for non-Mac applications. What have you experienced?

Chrome is the only browser I use on my 3 computers. Much faster, cleaner and more reliable.
The pages load much faster and the browser is not BLOATED. I have been using Chrome for at least 6 months or more now and can't see going back to IE

I've used Chrome for a couple of years, a very few applications require IE and it almost painful when I have to use it.

WAIT! There is more. I used Firefox for years and then when I got it all bloated with the nifty add ons and it slowed down I went to Chrome. I love Chrome but have managed to slow it a little. I still like the interface. BUT, I downloaded the current version of IE which is IE9 Beta. WOW! It is as fast if not faster then Chrome. I am using both for a while to see if the speed of IE is just my imagination. I used two small programs that require Firefox, so use it to a lesser degree.

You do not have the option to vote "I tried Chrome but switched back to Safari"
I did try it for a week but had some issues with it not being able to display websites within a given time, then it would time out and say it could not find the website.
Another thing I did not like was the distance / size of how the bookmarks are arranged. The spacing was way too much.
For now I will stick to Safari on my Mac..

as far as size of page and text, just hit ctrl key and plus or minus and the page instantly changes to your size of preference and remembers that size for that page next time
