Google Maps Disappeared

Over the years I created maps on Google Maps of all the C2C, GNP,TT, Encore, RPI, ROD & related campgrounds. For us all the free (prepaid) and discounted locations. Probably over 500 hrs of work. Now it appears I can no longer access these maps. I usually go to Google Maps> menu> your places> maps> (map names) but map names longer appear.
Anyone else have this issue? Any suggestions?

Do you have more than one Google account? If so, make sure you log in with the Google account under which you created the maps.

I have multiple Google accounts, including one specifically for creating and sharing maps. For that account, all my saved maps are there (today, and hopefully tomorrow, too!).

You got it!!!!! My original account created 10+ years ago was the one I used to create the maps. Several years ago I changed my email address and created a new Google account on my Android device. In any case when I added the old account back on the laptop my maps were there, not quite like they were, but I can fix that.

I'd rather have the two accounts merged since the new account has 5000+ photos on it and the old account has a nonexistent email address. Any ideas?

It was not difficult to move maps between Google accounts. Google had instructions on how to do that. I'd try to move content to the new account, then deactivate the old one (after waiting several weeks/months to be sure everything is moved and working OK).

I would agree with transferring everything to the new one. Good luck!
