I have the roadmate 9165T and couldn't be happier. And, yes it comes with 110v cord and charger. I have not encountered any of the problems I have read about in any of the posts on this forum.

We have the Rand McNally 5510. I like it a lot. However, I bought the optional Realtime Traffic receiver and this thing just does not work. My wife's Garmin is much better for traffic updates. Maybe this is not a concern for retired folk, but us still-workin' stiffs gotta commute.

Have the JVC system that was installed in the coach when we purchased it. Would NOT recommend it for a purchase. The goofy lady can't even pronounce our street names much less know where we are wanting to go. It tried to turn me down a gravel road when we were looking for a campground in Mississippi.

It all has to do with training.

The deal is that she wants to participate. I drive, she navigates, finds fuel and campgrounds. I do the set up and break down, water, sewer, level, slides and so on. She does the toad unhook and hook up. More importantly she cooks real well.

Seriously, if she didn't play, I'd sell the rig and spend all my time at the beach.

Imo, ya gotta do stuff together or what's the point?
