HD signal with Winegard RD-4600?

Can you receive HD programming using DISH Network with a Winegard RD-4600 crank up dish?

Yes the Winegard crank up dish works perfectly for HD on Dish Network. Since virtually all channels are HD now, you simply aim at the 129 HD satellite, in the same way we aimed at the 119 satellite to get the low definition channels back in the day.

When you are receiving the 129 satellite, the VIP211k menu will be populated with HD channels. If you hook up the OTA antenna on your roof, local HD channels will also be added to the VIP211k's menu.

This applies to Dish Network High Definition with a VIP211k receiver, and does not apply to Direct TV.
