HDMI Splitter

I have an 08 Allegro Bus, We have a 1x4 HDMI splitter. It seems that the signal is not being distributed by the splitter or there is no signal getting to it. Anyone have problems with these splitters. I would rather not drag the dvd player under the coach but that may be the test.

Your signal should come from unit to the 1 input, and any one of the 4 outputs should work, if not, replace it. They can be like a light bulb, one day they work, one day they don't work.

Splitter should work without any problem.

That being said, I pass along the following info FWIW.

I am using a splitter on my HD Sat output to feed a Sony TV in my family room and a Philips in my kitchen. Every time that I changed inputs on the Sony, the Philips would turn on if it was off. After much troubleshooting , I figured out that the Sony Has a feature that will automatically turn on compatable Sony devices. That feature was causing the Philips to turn on every time that the Sony TV input was selected to Sat.

Deactivating that feature on the Sony solved the problem.

Oh for the days of the simple on/off switch.

Has this splitter and set up ever worked or is this a new installation? Is it a powered splitter?

We have been using a 1x2 powered splitter/amplifier and I've just ordered another one to cascade them to the third TV outside.
