HDMI splitter to Winegard
Our Tiffin Allegro Red came with (2) 8 port HDMI splitters that has both a 2D and 3D switch. Each box only uses 4 ports. Both boxes went out due to the power plug failing. We received both replacement plugs from Tiffin, and the power is back on. We have one box however, that the green light to the source comes on and the goes out. (Of course, this keeps the satellite from communicating). We have been trying to figure out of the box is bad. If so, what would be a good replacement to had the satelitte dish. These boxes seem to get really hot, even with a fan on them.

Have you contacted Nick Brewer at Tiffin. He is the Tiffin video guy. I believe they have had so much trouble with these that they're replacing them at no charge.

Most of the problems seem to be with the power supply - which is a wall wart type. Have you turned on the cooling fans for that area? Sometimes these things overheat and the box drops the signal.
There are multiple points of potential failure in these HDMI to CAT6 converters. From the power cubes, to the CAT6 cable terminators, to the decoders on the TV end. You have to check them all.

We just purposed new power plugs from Tiffin and the fan installed in the cabinet always stays on. We did discover by trial and error, that one box apparently goes to the dvd player, as the green source light turned on when it was turned on. Still no signal to make either direct tv or the regular antenna work.
I will see if I can locate a number for Nick Brewer, as these things seem to almost be a fire hazard. Way too hot even with a fan.

These HDMI CAT5 splitters have nothing to do with the regular over the air antenna. They only distribute the output signal from either the satellite receiver or the BluRay player to the various TVs. If you are having problems receiving over the air signals, then you are going to have to look elsewhere. The signal for the OTA and park cable come through a single coax system with an amplifier/splitter.
