Has any one considered THIS antenna as a replacement for the Wingard Batwing?

We went to heartland and bought the $39.00 antenna for our home. We are 50 0r 60 miles out and we get about 12 channels, receive in high definition. All major stations plus weather channels. Long story short, I bought another for our RV. We are restoring it now. I could put the antenna on it and pick up the same stations. It will not stick up over 18" when installed. I think you are on the right track.

The one thing that comes to mind is there are so many ways that this antenna can catch on something, even when stored correctly. A low hanging branch in a campground could easily catch on it as opposed to another brand. Just an observation. I think its the Jack antenna that has gotten good reviews and is a lot cleaner design.

Based on the low profile of the antenna I referenced and I visually confirmed, ...when stored it is lower than the air conditioner.

AND upon checking the specs of the Jack Antenna there is NO spec listed to show it is better than the Wingard Wingman combo.

Flytyer if you have looked at this add on to bat-wing it really pulls in the stations.
Was at Newmar in IN. and didn't even have to put up antenna.
It mounts to bottom of bat-wing and lays flat to roof.

I would try upgrading the bat-wing with the Wingman addition. With the new digital stations, you will not get the coverage you had with the old analog signal.

I have used the WIngman since it came out. It does work. However, I am looking for a bit more performance to enable more stable reception of the Orlando CBS station. With a slight hill and trees in the path there are times when reception is marginal...I am 45 miles SW of their tower.
