Simultaneously, the rear camera image & TripTek data quit displaying on our Panasonic dash LCD in our 02 Monaco Signature . The left, right, and interior cameras still work on the dash LCD as designed. I've inspected every 12v fuse. No blown fuses that I can find. I took the top inspection/maintenance panel off the dash to see if I could find a blown fuse. None found, but what a ugly can of worms Monaco produced in there. My teenage daughter could do a better job at wiring. I don't have wiring diagrams for the TripTek or Panasonic color rear camera.

Is there a common thread between the rear camera & TripTek? our is it just a coincidence? If I remember correctly, the TripTek data is only visible when the rear camera image is on?

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Don

Thanks Sammie:

I called them and their tech guy was very helpfull.

I finally figured out that the rear camera image was gone due to a bad soder joint in the rear camera 4 pin mini din connector going into the video switching box. The TripTek data is fed ONLY into the rear camera system. So, no rear camera image, then no TripTek data too. After I re-sodered the joint, I was jiggling various wires and notice that 1 of the 2 video RCA cables coming out of the TripTek control box was causing a blurry rear video image. I changed it out, and now the color rear camera image is better than ever.

It's always somethin :-)
