Help needed w/ Satellite TV, Streaming, etc

We are going full time real soon I need technical help with Satellite, Streaming, etc.
We will be in RV Parks 95% of the time, very little if any boondocking.

We watch very little TV , Sports mostly and news channels, We have Direct TV in our sticks and bricks, to me its a waste of Money 200+ channels we don't watch.

I've read a lot of post about streaming, Prime TV, Fire sticks HULU ....... I really don't understand 95% of what i'm reading.

We are having a new RV being built, we have had Wifi Ranger installed at my sons recommendation, we also Have ATT Car unlimited, ZTE Mobley.

I guess my question is how do we get just the channels we watch, LOL probably not possible, but what is the tech experts recommendations on equipment I need; do I stick with satellite or...?????

You weren't. Very specific about what news & sports, but for $20 a month you can stream Sling TV which will get you CNN, Espn 1,2&3 and a lot of regular cable like history,HGTV, etc. I think Roku is the easiest to use and can be had via a smart TV or a stick. Sometime Sling will give you a Roku express stick for free with 2 months of service. And its nice to be able to turn it off or on a month at a time. They also give a lot of college sports and you can pay an additional $5 a month and add more sports, movies, etc. Of course that or any internet service needs a good connection. Hope this helps..

I'm not sure, but I would think you should be able to use your existing DirectTV account and stream it through the DIRECTV Now app. I also have the Mobley and signed up for DirectvNow and it works great. SInce AT&T and DIRECTV have partnered, using the DirectvNow app will not count as data usage on your Mobley. I purchased an Amazon Firestick and I'm able to get all the Apps on it (DirectvNow, Netflix, Hulu, etc)
