Help with back up camera wiring

Backup camera has bit the dust on my 2004 Allegro. Brand is no longer made so doubt there are spare parts. Monitor comes on but no picture. Power at camera and microphone works so I am going to replace camera with hopes will get a picture. If that does not work I will go with WIFI camera to Ipad. I know the black wire is ground and red is hot. Should I assume white is audio and yellow is video? Any wisdom would be appreciated. Leave for first ever two week vacation in a week and miss my camera.

Folks at RV cams were very helpful and got me up running quickly. All I had was a Coax to the rear camera. the camera had a tail off it and the connecter was around 12" or so from it leading back to the monitor.

Check www. rearview safety.com and go into their tech support documentation. You may find a schematic with wiring similar to your system.

Temporary Success

Ordered a $25.00 ESky brand camera from Amazon. Temporarily wired it in and have a better picture than original. Had to figure out which wire was video as the conventional yellow ended up being voice and the heavier white was video. Tomorrow will be permanent waterproof install and keeping fingers crossed.

Great.... let us know how you make out. My son installed an ESky brand camera on the rear of his Trailer for a rear camera and it works well.

He powered his camera off of the Running lights on the trailer.

Wrapped up and working fine

Completed wiring and reassembly and camera gives better picture than original. Will need to figure out the distance lines from back of camper. Had a hunch monitor was still good so this was least cost alternative. Lost the microphone option but still may figure that out. If this does not last, will go to wireless camera through Ipad since I know I have good power cable at camera location.
