I have a new 2012 Starcraft Autumn Ridge. My question is about the cable hook ups inside the camper. I have the usual outside hookup on the driver side. My inside hook ups are as follows

On one wall plate is a cable coax connector with a dc plugin above
I assume this is the out to tv for my roof top antennae

Next to that wall plate is another one with two cable hook up connectors and it came with a jumper cable connected between the two.

Please help me know what each connector does and help with the following situations

If I hook up to campsite cable and just want to watch their cable(no cable box)

If I just want to watch roof top antennae

If I get a direct tv satellite what is the proper hook up?

Thanks in advance

Karen

I will try and help. I no longer has a travel trailer with that configuration, but did have something similar. The one with the DC connection on mine allowed me to hook up a second TV. There was also a small button on it, which was the boost switch for the TV antenna in. It controlled both TVs and boosted the signal coming in. If it was off, then it allowed a cable signal to be received from the cable connection. I was also able to use a satellite dish and a receiver. I would use the same cable input, but I would disconnect the "U" shape connectIon and attached the connection from the satellite box to the upper connection (mine were on top of each other and not side by side, and the lower connection, I would connect the other half of "U" to the input side of the box. I had to use extra cables and double male plugs to connect the cables. you might have to switch these leads in your case, but it should work similar to mine. Hope this helps.
