Our tracvision LF in our '04 Newmar KSDP fails to display a picture. Its always been slow to find satellites........rotating between azimuth limit switches several times before finally stopping on a satellite (green LED)........usually the wrong one. Repeated attempts to lock on a satellite will eventually find a correct satellite. Switch checks will result in "less satellites then before". Signal strength will lock on 60+, but no picture.
All has been working well 'till recently. Testing with both house IRDs results are same.
KVH tech support suggests a new antenna that will allow downloads from DISH as current nightime software downloads to the IRD are affecting the mobile community. I don't mind replacing parts but if an upgraded antenna will soon be obsolete there must be a better way.
My laptop is unable to accept serial data so I can't display any errors.
Any help will be greatly appreciated......thanks in advance.
