Home monitoring systems

Were considering a home monitoring system for when were traveling. We would like to monitor temperature and moister, {excessive water}. It's a completely new field for us and we could sure use some suggestions from those of you that have experience with them. Looking for something that will alert by telephone.

We had a water problem this last Feb. while we were in Az, and though it cost a lot to repair it could have been a lot worse if not for an alert neighbor.

If you're looking for alerts by phone, you probably want something like the Sensaphone system:

I also recommend the Sensaphone products. I would also turn off the water supply valve at the entrance.
