I've noticed on several RV forums people asking how to know their internet data usage. Some reasons for wanting to know are because some services only allow so much usage per month or there is an extra charge. Install this program at this site: Data Usage Program It's a good way to get a idea of your usage before buying into a plan.

Doesn't appear to work with 2 or more computers sharing one internet connection. It also will not separate out file transfers between 2 computers from internet usage. It also only keeps track of usage from midnight to midnight. All of these problems make it a no-go for Hughes users. It appears to do OK for users with only one computer and a monthly data usage limit.
Hughes users can download FAPMON and (if you can get it to work) keep track of your usage the way Hughes tracks your FAP.

Bill I agree the program doesn't do everything. But I think for the average person with no idea of their usage it does give them some numbers to work with. If you have 2 or more computers on one connection, just install the program on each computer and do a little addition to get an idea of total usage. There may be better programs out there to do this but this one is free and gives one a very good idea of usage.

On the graph of NetMeter is the vertical scale showing the true speed of the connection you might have?
