I can't get all of my channels

I have a tracstar sv260 satelite on my motorhome with a Dish network box. I can only pick up about half the channels that I am supposed to. Dish says that my satelite may not be receiving all signals. Does anyone know of updates for the satelite or it can be upgraded toan sv360? I am on dish 119

The rest of your channels are probably on 110 satellite

No dome antenna can see more than 1 satellite at a time. The Tracstar 260 requires that you manually select either 110 or 119 (the new 129 satellite is likely unavailable at all). Once you make the change and allow the antenna to point toward the new satellite you should get the other half of your programming. You will need to do this each time you want to watch programming on a different satellite.
I do not believe that a hardware/software update is available for this older antenna but you can contact Trac Star in Orlando, FL with your model and serial number to see if they is any help available.

Is that antenna a DOME type or a DISH with a single lens (hockey puck)

IF so it sees one satellite

DishNetwork splits Standard Def channels between two satellites 110 and 119, High Def is on yet a 3rd, I think it is 127 but please do not quote me on that number.

Not all SD channels are on 110/119 and not all HD channels are on 129. Here is a list of what channels are on what sat.
