And I find it easier to text than talk sometimes.

What's the advantage of having an IRV2 app on the phone. Why not just bring it up in your regular browser?

Hi historyljc,
With the iRV2 app on one's phone, one can be "connected" to iRV2 all day long, no matter where one is or what one is doing. It's part of the jump from Internet forums to social networking. The kids now in middle and high school will be known as the social networking generation.
For me, I'm okay with the old technology of forums and browsing via a P/C. Even when I was working I cherished the all night flights, back then that was the only time I had to myself! This constantly being connected is a bit much for me.

Hi Dadeaux,
Proud I'm not sure of. Elated would be more like it. Last year they put the pressure on for Internet access in the coach. I installed AutoNet. It is a nice service. Easy to install. Naturally, I had to have an external antenna. Just what I need another antenna on the roof. It's been up and running and from day 1 it works as advertised. I would make the same purchase again. The unit is in a closet in the rear of the coach. Out of site out of mind. Last year's trip with the Gkids was the quietest we've ever had.
There is a benefit to me. I did not have to listen to Hanna Montana (and similar shows) reruns all day long.

Where I work I don't have acess to a computer, and I don't have time to bring my laptop to work. so the iphone is in my pocket and I can acess it when I have a few minutes at break or lunch

Problem with the app is you can't get to the photos section like you can on the web
