As you will soon be able to determine, we are new motor home owners.

My question is, looks like I need to install a digital converter box in the MH. Currently we have the multi-switch (not sure of the proper name) that lets you switch from TV to cable, to DVD, etc. Anybody have detailed (read simple) instructions on how to hook up a digital converter box to that switch?

thanks in advance for any help and not laughing too much at my lack of knowledge!

Phillip

Get the digital box with analog pass thru. That way using anything but the antenna you leave the converter box off. Install the box between the multi switch box and the TV. That being disconnect the cable going to the back of the TV from the multi switch box and connect to the out of the digital converter box.
Run a new cable from the multi switch to the in of the digital converter. Plug in to 110 volt and program.

If you also have a rear TV you will need a second digital box at the rear tv. I mounted a magazine rack beneath cabinets by our rear TV and used that as a shelf to hold the converter. It matches the oak interior.
