Thanks!

This topic gets a lot of air play around here. You are going to get many answers so be prepared. Julia and I use:
Verizon for cell and Broadband.
Broadband is through a Sierra AC595. We have it plugged in to a Dlink DIR450 Wireless router.
Computers are:
Gateway 7410GX and a HP-6510b both laptops.
Printing through an Epson r340 printer and a wireless print server.
We use a Wilson Wireless AMP for both phone and internet. It consists of a dual band antenna on the roof and a small panel antenna in the coach. I have the external antenna for the AC595 Velcro'd to the internal panel antenna for a real solid signal boost for our internet requirement but it still helps our cell phone reception as well. Julia full time in the coach and run our business from there. Both good cell and internet connections are a must.

To give you a good answer we are going to need more information.
1) Do you NEED an internet connection everywhere and every time you stop?
2) If not, how often would you LIKE to be able to access the internet?
3) Business or pleasure?
4) Where do you like to stay? Around Cities or out in the boondocks? Mexico or Canada travels?
5) Any other questions that might come to mind.

I've got the Hughes Net satellite system set up on the Dustyfoot tripod and have had it for over two years. I'm very pleased with it. It takes me on average a half hour to set it up and I'm on the air.

If I'm going to be at a location for just a couple of days I don't bother setting it up.
