I have an '05 Damon Daybreak with the original 27" Sharp TV. Probably an '04 model. I was thinking that everything was digital unless you had one of those antiques that you had to get up and turn the clunk knob to change the channel. But maybe I'm wrong about that.
A non RVing friend was the first to ask me about it and I then realized that "I don't know"
So have I been missing discussions about this?
I don't have an LCD in the MH. How do I know if it'scompatible with the new format that's coming?

Hi Max,
My gut feel says you have an analog TV receiver. Consider getting the Govt. coupons and the converter box(s). One box per TV. Also, get a converter with the pass through feature.

An easy way to check to see what you have is to crank up your antenna and set your A/V to receive off air signals. Do this in any medium to large city metro area. If what you see are the normal channel numbers, you have an analog receiver. If you see a channel like these examples of 12.1 or 12.2 or 42.1 or 42.2 (display might be a bit different) then that is a digital signal and you have a digital tuner.

Because you have an 05 coach, it is almost 100% that you have an analog receiver.

Max,
You absolutely! have analog TV's in your coach. You will be required to either replace your TV's or use a converter or 2 to convert the digital signal to analog (one for each if you want to watch different channels on different TV's).
This only applies to over-the-air TV programming. If you use satellite TV the signal is already digital and your satellite receiver converts this to analog. This will continue to work into the foreseeable future.
