King Dome

I have a 2007 Lexington motorhome. Is the standard practice to set the King Dome to Direct TV. I have Dish and had a great deal of problems connecting to it, as a result I bought a free standing receiver. My situation has changed now and I was wondering if just changing my provider would be the best way to go.
Any comments are helpful

Not sure if this answers your question but: We have an in-motion king dome on our 2006 aspect. We bought the Aspect used and when we got the king dome set up the tech said direct t.v. was the best. He also represented Dish network. It's worked well for us. The only thing I don't like about direct t.v. is that we can't turn the contract off for 2 years. As we don't use the motorhome alot, we pay for many idle months.

Most domes come pre programmed for Direct. Some can be reset (for Dish) with dip switches and some have to be re programmed with a special "tool".
