Kudos to WifiRanger

I bricked my wifiranger recently and had to send it back. I have the EliteAC so sent both inside and outside units to them, knowing it was the outside unit that was not working. They found a problem with one of the ports on the inside router that I may have never spotted and sent a new one with the re-flashed external router. Those guys are champs in my book.

It's a remarkable unit that pulls in long range wifi and does hot standby, load balancing, and dynamic bandwidth. I use a tethered hotspot as my second network source and prioritize the wifi over LTE. I typically leave it in dynamic mode and have it switch to LTE via my hotspot if the bandwidth drops below 2mb.

I've compared this with other units and believe it's better because it will dynamically raise and drop configured connections to keep me connected. I can load balance 2 different wifi sources, ethernet, and a LTE hotspot using any or all. I'd like to see it bond two or more sources and aggregate the speeds but that's not a feature so far.

I have no affiliation and probably stated some things incorrectly up there. I am a satisfied customer!

I miss the Ranger I had on the previous coach (Tiffin).

I now have the Winegard ConnecT 2 and can't stand the software for managing it.
The one time I reached out to Winegard for help with it, I felt their support lacking at best.

I not only liked the Ranger much more, but also found their support outstanding...
